Stay the Course: When It Feels Like It’s Taking Too Long
June has a different kind of weight to it.
By now, you’ve set goals. You’ve made plans. You’ve stepped out in faith. You’ve been doing the work.
And yet… you may find yourself asking:
“Why hasn’t it happened yet?”
Let’s be honest.
Waiting can be frustrating.
Especially when you know you’ve been consistent. Especially when you know you didn’t just talk about it, you actually moved.
But here’s what I want you to hold on to.
Just because it hasn’t happened yet does not mean it’s not happening.
There is a difference.
Progress is not always loud.
Growth is not always visible.
And purpose does not always unfold on your timeline.
Sometimes, the very thing you’re praying for is already in motion behind the scenes.
Doors are being aligned.
People are being positioned.
You are being prepared.
And if everything showed up the moment you asked for it, you might not be ready to sustain it.
That’s the part we don’t always want to hear, but it’s real.
There is a preparation that happens in the waiting.
A strengthening.
A stretching.
A refining.
Because where you’re going requires more from you.
More discipline.
More clarity.
More confidence.
So instead of asking, “Why is this taking so long?”
Shift the question to, “What is this season producing in me?”
That shift changes everything.
Because now you’re not just waiting.
You’re growing.
You’re not stuck.
You’re being developed.
And when you understand that, you stop rushing the process and start respecting it.
You begin to show up differently.
You stay consistent, even when you don’t see immediate results.
You keep moving, even when it feels slow.
You trust, even when it doesn’t make sense.
Because you know this:
How you go through determines how you come out.™
And you’ve come too far to quit now.
This is not the time to pull back.
This is the time to stay the course.
Stay committed.
Stay focused.
Stay aligned.
Because what’s ahead of you is still worth it.
And it’s closer than you think.
You are not delayed.
You are not denied.
You are being developed.
You are purposed.
You are positioned.
You are predestined.
You are equipped.
You are prepared.
So keep going.
Let’s take a Selah Moment:
Where have you started to feel discouraged because things are taking longer than expected? What would shift if you trusted that something is still being worked out for you?
Now Our Faith Declaration:
I will not grow weary in my journey.
I trust that God is working even when I cannot see it.
I am being prepared for what I have prayed for.
I will stay consistent and committed.
I am walking confidently in my purpose and my timing.
