A Season of Purpose, Promise, and Personal Change
December has a way of slowing you down just long enough for your heart to catch up with your life. As the year winds down, you start looking back on everything you’ve carried, everything you’ve survived, and everything God has brought you through. And if you’re anything like me, this month always reminds you that purpose isn’t something you stumble into ….it’s something God prepares you for long before you ever realize you’re walking in it.
This December feels different for me. It feels personal. It feels sacred. Because this is the month my book, Purposely Positioned for Success, was released into the world — not as a product, but as a promise kept.
A promise that what you’ve walked through matters.
A promise that your story has weight.
A promise that God wastes nothing.
Writing this book taught me something I will never forget:
You are purposed. You are positioned. You are predestined. You are equipped. You are prepared.
Even when life feels heavy.
Even when you’re unsure.
Even when you’re changing and stretching and trying to make sense of your season.
This month, I want to encourage you to pause and ask yourself:
What has God been positioning me for this year?
What did I learn about myself that surprised me?
Where have I grown, even when it didn’t feel like growth?
What is God calling me to release, restore, or reclaim?
December is not the end ….it’s the hinge between “what was” and “what’s about to be.” And before you step into 2026, I want you to know this:
How you go through determines how you come out.™
That’s the heartbeat of my book.
That’s the heartbeat of my journey.
And it’s the message I pray reaches you right when you need it most.
If you haven’t had a chance to read Purposely Positioned for Success, I invite you to make it part of your December soul-care. Curl up with a blanket, a cup of something warm, and give yourself permission to reflect, reset, and rise.
This is your season of becoming.
Your season of clarity.
Your season of purposeful change.
And I’m cheering you on every step of the way.
With Purpose,
E. Lorraine Gardner
